There is no problem at all to use Mendelssohn's "Lift Thine Eyes" as the work has been in the public domain for a very long time. Scores are available for free download at CPDL.

The Cantus database at
https://cantus.uwaterloo.ca/chant/153371
indicates that the sequence Beata progenies is for "Nativitas Mariae".

Evidently, the Multi-Category Search cannot handle composer names which have diacritical marks: Fauré gives no results, just as Schütz gives no results. Knowing that Schütz works are all catalogued with SWV numbers, I tried "SWV" and got 31 results (all Schütz works) for 5-part a cappella ...

I just moved #33537 to the Anerio work (even though that is itself wrongfully attributed).

Only CPDL #33537 of the two Anonymous scores coincides with the Anerio. CPDL #33538 is an entirely different work.

For (1) I got 10 results. For (2) I got 168 results. On a lark, I selected 4-part but did not select ATTB for (2) and got 2377 results. The extra work i these last two cases is probably due to a new work being added since the above trials were run. It's likely that for (2) your student inadvertently...
