Re: Ubi Caritas - Vocaloid
Thanks for your comment, Carlos! But I have trouble understanding your advice; could you specify what you mean by "intensity" and "wow effect?" Do you mean that I should reduce the vibration in longer sounds?

Ubi Caritas - Vocaloid
Hi, I'm recently working on making a version of Ubi Caritas (Durufle) through a software called Vocaloid. This is just the first few seconds: http://pds16.egloos.com/pds/201004/08/68/test_ubc.mp3 (File plays after 7 seconds) What do you think? It's nowhere near as good as actual human interpretation...

Ubi Caritas Alto Tenor Bass
Hi CPDL,
Do you know how I could listen to, or purchase Ubi Caritas (Duruflé), its different parts seperated? (Either on-line or purchasing a CD) Not MIDI files, but interpreted works. Thank you.

Translating the website into Korean
Hello CPDL,
I would like to embark upon translating the ChoralWiki into Korean.
How can I create the main page in a different language?
Also, is it possible that I make the Korean main page automatically appear to anyone accessing from Korea?

Re: Works in French
There are about dozens of works I failed to find lyrics... I just gave up listening to them. If no one bothered to post lyrics on the web, I guess that they're not very significant pieces of work. Too bad not many major works are written in French.

Re: Works in French
Thanks, Carlos! I really appreciate it.
I'm curious about, however, why the lyrics can be so challenging to find. Why is it that a lot of people listen to classical music, but not choral works, especially those in French?

Works in French
I've been listening to choral music for less than a year now, and since I am more familiar with English and French than I am with Latin, I tend to enjoy more the works in these languages. I've purchased some choral musics in French recently, by Ensemble Gilles Binchois, through Internet, but the pro...

Re: Text of Tallis' "Discomfort them, O Lord"
It is a contrafactum of "Absterge Domine."

Text of Tallis' "Discomfort them, O Lord"
Can someone please upload this text? It is nowhere to be found in Google or Bing. It's in English, and it's not an unknown work, why wouldn't there be any lyrics? I possess the work, but can't decipher it with my ears.
