Re: composer page (missing the obvious)
Hi, the MXL (compressed MusicXML) file was not present. How did you produce and linked it? I made another one and linked it. I've also added the underlay text in the accurate section. Please, add it yourself, next time, replacing {{NoText}} by a link to the existing text page, like {{LinkText|Ave Ma...

Re: composer page (missing the obvious)
When you click on 'Add new work', the AddWork form is shown. You fill it: title of work, lyricist, etc AND, in the same time, on the 'Music notation file' line, click on 'Upload a file'. It opens a new tab in your web browser. You'll browse your hard disk to pick your music notation file (only one, ...

Re: composer page (missing the obvious)
Thanks for your contribution. I've cut the informations you've put on a PDF file page and pasted them, creating the composer page: http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Stewart_Alan_Hughes Please ascertain the fact that you own the copyright for this modern composer. Then you will be able to create a f...

Re: Locations of PDFs
We understand your thoughts. Anyway, many users/conductors prefer to get a partial content than having to reconstruct the whole thing, for example if they want to change only the pitch or only the tempo, or remove a voice, or produce a MIDI file (that can be efficient without the lyrics), to adapt t...

Re: Added work missing on composer page
If you received by mail the content of the work page : - for a new work page: create the work page typing its exact title Work_name_(Composer_name) in the address bar of your web browser then cut and paste the content (beginning by ==Music files==) from the mail to the brand new page - for an existi...

Because you haven’t added it manually (the work page).

Re: Added work missing on composer page
Have you already done it manually: created the work page and added its content (received in a mail to the address you mentioned in the AddWork form)?
When the corresponding page will be created, a line will be automatically added to the composer/arranger page.

Re: Locations of PDFs
It's a good idea to change external links into internal ones, as we've seen hundreds of external links broken after changes on corresponding external sites. 1. Please have your file name specific enough to not overwrite an existing one on our servers. Upload the file clicking on 'Upload a file' in t...

Re: Publication showing up in sorted works
Hi Geoffrey,
You did it all well. Thanks for your contributions to CPDL.
Composition titles are added automatically on the composer's page, not the publication titles.
I guess you found that after this post, because both publications are now mentioned.
Kind Regards,
Claude.

Re: error message with addworks
1. If you want to add a new work page regarding an existing composer, going to its composer page and clicking on 'Add new work' will make the AddWork form appear. 2. If you want to add a new edition on an existing work page, navigating to the work page and clicking on 'Add new edition' will make the...

Re: How to post chorale (i.e.: hymn) settings in different languages?
I've merged the pages under the original title and composer name.
I also added the {{Arranger|Angelina Figus}} template to her edition, thus making appear that work as one of her compositions.
So everybody should be satisfied.

1. About http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Sacrae_cantiones_(Raffaella_Aleotti) , links from work to publication page, and back, work already, isn't it? Don't you agree that pieces 6 and 18 were composed by Ercole Pasquini, as stated at Bibliothèque nationale? https://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb...

Re: How to post chorale (i.e.: hymn) settings in different languages?
What I was thinking of is what has been used on "Stille Nacht": http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Stil ... er_Gruber) but the mention under 'Edition notes" also does the trick.
Double 'Title' field is therefore not necessary.
