Re: CPDLnumber and Contributor Name

But the little book with the audio CD or the DVD is under the same ISBN.
The paper model isn't the only one on the Internet. :)
Should we get a CPDL number for each file?

Re: CPDLnumber and Contributor Name

Consider that an edition is generally a group of three files: score, sound and source files. Each edition deserves a CPDL number. A CPDL number must be delivered by filling an AddWork form. When a work has several 'movements', it receives several CPDL numbers (the editor must fill an AddWork form fo...

Re: How does the requests system work?

I didn't found a "partially edited" category, so I used the 'Pending' one. Feel free to modify 'Additional notes' to let us know if completion is really pending or not. Thanks.

Re: Bach Cantata 61 - correction to index needed

Thank you for informing us about the problem.
I've modified the line of Cantata 61 on Bach's list of choral works subsequently.
Let us know if it isn't what you expected.
Claude.

Re: Opus or opus

Thanks, Chuck.
I'll follow that rule:
15.7 When opus and number are part of a title, they are abbreviated and capitalized.
Op. 15, No. 3
changing 'opus' into 'Opus',
abbreviating 'Opus' to 'Op. in titles,
putting a dot when there is none after 'Op' and 'No'.

Opus or opus

I achieved a cycle of restoring space between 'Op. and the opus number, like 'Op. 1' in lieu of 'Op.1' (without space inbetween).

Now I'm willing to replace 'Op.' by 'op.'. No need to keep upper case for first letter of the word, isn't it?
What do you think?

Re: When exactly is a cpdl edition number needed?

I'm sorry having to understand today that "number" has both meanings in English: "CPDL number": one for each edition and "edition number" as an answer to "How many new editions today?". So, "How many new editions this year?" is more meanful than &quo...

A recent re-edition of an old piano-and-vocal score shows an email address:

Re: Source for text underlay "Tourdion"?

Are you angry, Chuck? :D Worth the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tourdion Tourdion is the dance (no text). 'Quand je bois du vin clairet' is a text underlaid under a typical music for Tourdion. No doubt that if you dance tourdion or drink claret wine, in both cases your head keep turning equall...

Re: Simplest method to upload my score

Also, I was wondering how the MIDI file was added to my first submission "Toyland" (thanks!) . Do you normally provide this, or do I need to submit a music file? What is the size limit for music files? We prefer that each editor take some time more to save his music file as a MIDI file hi...

Re: Help in correcting an unusual error

Hi, Mike, I suggest you : 1. Rename the page , clicking on the 'Rename' tab at the top : Magnificat, D486 (Franz Schubert) A redirection from the old to the new page will be automatically implemented and all the links to the old page will lead to the new one. Only one non-dynamic link at this time l...
