Entering a new work
After a space of several years I have recently added two Gesualdo (Book 5) works. Your staff kindly entered one for me. I thought I would use this data to enter the next, but obviously I must have done it incorrectly. I read your instructions - or I thought I did! My additions seem to be a disaster! My initial attempt got me a location for the .pdf file and for the .mid file, but the Sibelius file (zipped) did not give me any such info. My copying of info for the "works" page ended up with both works showing on the same page. The two works I have sent are Occhi del mio cor vita, and O dolorosa gioia. I need more help. Many thanks.

Re: Entering a new work
I seem to have got the pages for my last entry correct, except for one thing. Where does the CPDL number for the piece come from? I used "?????" which I think is wrong!

Re: Entering a new work
The CPDL number, plus all the coding is provided after:
Step 1. "Add scores"
Step 2. If you are entering a new work, select "Add Choral/Solo Vocal Work, or New Edition"
Step 3. Complete the form.
When this page is correctly submitted, then CPDL responds with the coding necessary to complete the Composition Detail page.
The necessary files to complement the Add Scores Form must also be sent.

Re: Entering a new work
When entering a new version of a work, I changed the information to reflect "2 versions available", however, when I went to the "works entry" page there was nothing there. I rescued the information which had been on the composer page and created the "older" version on the "works entry" page. There was some information I did not know so showed this by using "?". See Gesualdo Madrigals, Book 5, Deh, coprite il bel seno.
Re: Entering a new work
Hi Daniel, sorry to interrupt this lonely monologue of yours (where was everybody?)
What happened was that you added a comma after "Deh" and with this the link was no longer pointing to the original works page. You ended up creating a duplicate page; I'm already editing them in order to merge both pages.

Re: Entering a new work
I am wondering, I have some pieces that I entered a while ago, but have no detail page when I click the piece. I want to add this extra page, so where can I find the "CPDL #:" ? I don't have the number handy any longer.

Hi Fliv,
I've just sent an email to you containing all the CPDL edition numbers and the details to create the necessary pages.
