The link to the PDF on this new score page doesn't seem to be working - I get a standard Hostgator 404 message. The strange thing is that the link is correct - viewing the PDF from this page works fine. Any ideas?
Rob
PS. It would be nice to have our our customised 404 page rather than one with Hostgator advertising along the bottom.

In the wiki page there were some spurious characters after the pdf file name. I've removed them, it seems OK now.
I'll create a customized 404 error page.

Hi Rob. Curious behavior indeed! However, mindful of the old adage about computers when they don't seem to be working right ("try turning it off then back on again"), I opened the page for edit and hit "save" ... and now all seems to be well again. The adage here is "try an empty edit" to see if it solves the problem; in this case, it did!

Thanks Max. Very strange. Comparing the edits, I can't see anything different in the line but apparently there was a change because the wiki says so...In the wiki page there were some spurious characters after the pdf file name. I've removed them, it seems OK now.
Chuck: Agreed. I will soon be saying "try turning it off then back on again" many times a day in my new job to start in a couple of weeks!
Speedy work, Max, thanks! Just one little quibble (hope you don't mind!) - change "You requested a web page or file that is not existing at ChoralWiki." to "You requested a web page or file that does not exist at ChoralWiki."The customized 404 error page is now online.

Yes, it was tricky: they were odd characters, completely invisible, however they were even preserved if the whole file name was copied to notepad and than back into the page. I had to cancel and retype part of the file name to get rid of them.bobnotts wrote:I can't see anything different in the line but apparently there was a change
