I've reported this error on the score page. Unfortunately, the only way I can see of recovering the bass staves is by creating a new score from the MIDI.

I checked the pdf file originally stored at the Williams college, and the same problem exists in the original file. I tried to fix using three different pdf recovery tools, without success

Further to reconstructing the missing sections through the midi file, contacting the contributor and get a better version of the pdf file may be a viable alternative. Apparently, he has quite recently (March 2010) contributed both to CPDL and to IMSLP, so he is still active and supposedly reachable.
