Multi-Category Search Doesn't Handle Special Characters, Maybe?
Hey folks, noticing some odd behavior in the text search of Multi-Category Search. I'm searching for "a cappella" x "5 voices" with a few different search terms. "Heinrich" gives me plenty of results, including many by Heinrich Schütz, but "Schütz" and "Schutz" both give me no results. Perhaps something funny is happening with special characters when these searches are executed? Let me know if I can be of assistance debugging or fixing!
Re: Multi-Category Search Doesn't Handle Special Characters, Maybe?
Evidently, the Multi-Category Search cannot handle composer names which have diacritical marks: Fauré gives no results, just as Schütz gives no results. Knowing that Schütz works are all catalogued with SWV numbers, I tried "SWV" and got 31 results (all Schütz works) for 5-part a cappella works. I got essentially the same with "Heinrich Sch".
