We have thousands of CPDL editions posted with URLs of the form https://www.notamos.co.uk/123456.shtml. I would ideally like to change these to https://www.notamos.co.uk/detail.php?scoreid=123456 (I have made this change manually to the link on https://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/In_ ... gor_Lange), as an example). Is there any way this can be scripted? I am happy to do it myself if any route exists for me to do so.
Thanks.
Is it possible to script changes to edition URL format?
Re: Is it possible to script changes to edition URL format?
Hi Mandy,
A "replace text" function exists, which is restricted to administrators. I've tested it on the following 10 pages:
Please check that everything is OK.
For this test I used the normal text replacement function, which required two operations, however the function also accepts regular expressions, so everything should be feasible with a single operation only.
I think that we can temporarily provide administrator privileges to you, so that you can do the operation yourself. We may privately correspond about that, if you like.
