Apparently, there is another significant outage of the CPDL website. However, the "emergency website" at http://www.choralwiki.org/ seems available at the moment.

It is back up as of Wednesday evening.

Even though the availability seems still rather intermittent, with some hours of outage today (works in progress? Anybody knows?)

Hi Max,

I have no explanation for the unpredictable ups and downs; the e-mail I sent to Raf yesterday during the middle of the more prolonged outage is as yet unanswered. The most recent 2 & 1/2 hour outage could be consistent with work being carried out on the server, but that is pure speculation on my part.

Generally, I would hope that if work were to be done on the server, that accordingly there would be an administration notice posted beforehand here at choralwiki to say "CPDL will be down for maintenance from [start time] to approximately [end time]". However this, like a number of other things that would be timely and useful, is unfortunately being overlooked.
