I assume that, as with PDF and MIDI files, our users prefer to download one file per movement.

I have come around to the view that I prefer one score file per portions of a choral ordinary. That is, the Kyrie, Gloria, Credo (when applicable), Sanctus-Benedictus (so long as a page breaks then this is efficient), and Agnus (I & II together are fine). There is at least one established editor who put things together this way, for an entire Mass setting, not just where the editor only edited a Kyrie or Agnus independently of the other portions.

So if Dorico does something unusual then 6 files would not faze me or other users.
