Wrong link in Mozart Requiem

Post by ls1 »

Just want to report that MusicXML file for Confutatis (CPDL #20740):
http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/images/2/2b/Moza-con.zip

links to Lux aeterna file, but not Confutatis.

Re: Wrong link in Mozart Requiem

It seems that the contributor made a mistake when zipping and uploading the XML file: he zipped a file named Moza-Com.xml (where "Com" likely stands for "Communio", i.e., Lux aeterna) in lieu of a Moza-Con.xml that was probably supposed to contain Confutatis. I searched for other uploads by the same contributor that may be relevant to Confutatis, however I found none. So, I would suggest to leave a message on the contributor's discussion page (the contributor is Björn Ehnberg), so that he is notified, and he can upload a corrected file. You can leave the message yourself, or we can do it for you, if you like. Please just let us know.

Since I was going to leave a welcome message to Björn Ehnberg, I took the time to also inform him of this problem: :)

Sorry about this - my mistake! What really happened was exactly what Max described in his post. I have now uploaded a corrected version of the MusicXML file for the "Confutatis" movement.

I am an amateur choral singer (basso) and originally I prepared this edition of the "Requiem" for my choir "Cantemus" here in Stockholm. Please feel free to visit our homepage and listen to the result (video clip from 2009-11-03)
