Would like to remove work from CPDL

One of my editions is being picked up by a publisher, in spite of it being on CPDL for the past eight years or so. Is it possible for me to remove my work from CPDL? If so, do I simply mark it for deletion (using the instructions on the help page)?

Yes, marking the edition for deletion is a valid procedure, please go ahead with it. But be aware that if you published it under the CPDL license, anyone having a copy of it will have the right to publish it elsewhere, provided that proper attribution is given to you.
