Newbie Q's: commercial and dead links at cpdl

Post by Pcm »

Sorry if these are dumb newbie questions that have already been discussed. I've recently tried to join cpdl (choralwiki). I guess someone is considering my application, is that how it works?

I looked up one piece, and the offerings were disappointing.

One link leads you to a commercial site that asks for credit card details. Surely this should not be allowed? How do I report this and get it deleted? The same user has dozens of pieces at his commercial site listed at choralwiki.

Another link is dead, it just goes to a blank Ubuntu page. Again, how does one report this?

Two others link to sheet music, but they contain fairly basic errors. One is a copy of the other with a minor correction. Again, how can I flag this?

Fortunately I did find one good entry. But I wasted quite a lot of time trawling through the others.

I'm looking at this page

https://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/If_ ... n_Dowland)

00988 the link goes to a blank page

17942 goes to a page full of pop up ads and when you click on the pdf link it asks for your credit card.

05471 goes to a page in Dutch about a kickboxer.

The other three are ok but all have minor errors.

Thanks for spotting this.
I've corrected links for editions 988 and 5471.
No issue with other editions.
