Since the CPDL Bulletin Board started just over a year ago, we have passed the 500 count in registered users! It is both exciting and stimulating to have such a wide base of users interested in choral music, especially choral music in public domain, and we hope that users find this BB a useful forum for discussion. In addition, there are many "guest" visitors to the CPDL Bulletin Board, some of whom undoubtedly subsequently register and contribute their own thoughts and questions. To all of you, we say a hearty and sincere "Thank you!"
Unfortunately, there have also been spammers and advertisers of non-musical wares (most often medicines, either real or bogus) who register and post material entirely unsuitable to this forum. Administrators have tried to be diligent about keeping this to a minimum by deleting such users and their posts as well as banning their IP addresses, email addresses, and websites.

Re: 500 registered users!
Very cool! Does the 500-user mark include spammers we subsequently banned? Funny that within moments of your opening this topic, it had a spam posting by the already-since-banned cream8-something-something.
Re: 500 registered users!
Vaarky, did you notice that this topic is 3 years old?
Re: 500 registered users!
Missed that! It got refreshed by the spammer's post so clicking on View New Posts showed the spammer's and the most recent prior posting.
