how long does it take for a score to be posted?

Post by marymezzo »

Several days ago I posted a score of Monteverdi's "O Bone Jesu." Well, actually, a pdf score, a midi file, and a .mus file.

I guess no e-mail confirmation is sent when scores are received . . . but I'm curious about how long it takes till scores are posted and how one is supposed to know *when* the score has been posted.

Thanks,
Mary

Hi Mary

I'm one of the admins who posts new editions and works. The answer to your question is on this help page. You will know when your edition is posted because it will appear on the Main Page under "Most recent scores". There's not a big backlog at the moment but I've been slowed down in my efforts by the minor problems that we're having with the website responsiveness. Though not too much of an inconvenience to users browsing the site, those editing it are slowed considerably by the lack of server resources. I'll get to your edition as soon as I can.
