Haydn Creation

Post by jamesgibb »

It would be helpful if this could be tidied up, since it is not immediately clear whether new movements should be added as a new page, or added to the page for the complete work (which would seem more sensible). There is a page for the whole work, which now has six movements on it. However, a couple of these movements still have pages of their own - The heavens are telling and Achieved is the glorious work

I agree that adding to the main work page is more sensible.

In general, unless a larger work (such as an oratorio) is hugely popular (such as Messiah) with many partial editions (for the most popular movements), it has been the feeling of CPDL admins in the past that pages for separate movements are not appropriate and that editions for individual movements should be incorporated (or merged) into the main page for the work.
